Hopewood House is a truly bespoke full-service venue. Included in your booking is access to your very own ‘Hopewood Concierge’ – a personal wedding planning service, to be on hand every step of the way. At Hopewood House you can be assured of exclusivity, as the estate hosts only a small number of weddings and events throughout the year. Furthermore, couples and guests will enjoy the private exclusive use of the estate for their event, with the option to stay on site in the luxurious cottage accommodation available.

The bespoke, progressive nature of weddings at Hopewood House will see your guests meander through your favourite pockets of the estate, to your ceremony location, and then to the libations & celebrations that immediately follow. 

Whilst you step away for photos your guests will enjoy the exquisite hospitality and bond over the garden games on offer. There are several stunning locations within the estate gardens to hold your ceremony. The most popular being The Wedding Lawn. 

Our winter and wet weather options are some of the warmest and most stylish spaces in the Southern Highlands - ask us about the Pavilion Terrace Lounge and the Chukka Bar as back up options for your peace of mind. The Reception

Following your ceremony, photos and celebrations in your favourite estate garden locations, you will feast with your guests in The Pavilion.

Offering high end refinement for up to 150 guests, The Pavilion upstairs includes; The Grand Dining Room, The Terrace Lounge & the Chukka Bar. Downstairs you will find the Bong Bong Bar & Lounge and outdoor courtyard with fire pit & seating.

The Pavilion provides a unique offering of elegance with paintings from Tim Storrier’s private collection. Tim Storrier is one of Australia’s most successful fine art painters. His landscape works easily team with any colour palette, theme or choice of flowers. The Pavilion’s sense of refinement is complemented with a stunning marble fireplace and numerous hanging chandeliers. There are a number of beautiful wedding upgrade options also available for that extra luxe touch. 

Fine Food

The fine food and wine options at Hopewood House are exceptional and bespoke. With private catering, you can work closely with our in-house chef to create something incredible and memorable. Unlike some other wedding venues, you can create your very own menu and are not limited to an alternate serve menu.

Hopewood House is proud to partner with Simon Ekas Catering to create innovative seasonal menus and refined service for all Hopewood weddings and events. Together we pride ourselves on providing our clients an opportunity to select an exceptional menu that reflects your specific requirements. 

In fact, Simon Ekas Catering was named in the top 6 wedding caterers by Harpers Bazaar in 2019.

The menus are seasonal and of the highest standards and our waitstaff are also highly trained and experienced, taking great pride in their work. With a staff to guest ratio of 1:10, your guests will want for nothing before enjoying an abundant dessert station accompanied by roving desserts in the Pavilion Lounge Terrace & Bong Bong Bar. Chef Simon Ekas and his dedicated team work with Hopewood couples to create truly tailored menus to specification, and for all tastes. Cocktails and canapes, or a sit down shared grazing style menu, or the full service plated menu, whatever your heart desires.

The Pavilion Building has been specifically designed with a restaurant class commercial kitchen to cater almost all event types.
