With sprawling grounds of eleven acres, guests will be spellbound by the beauty of this stunning avant-garde property, which is a place of history and artisan quality. Hopewood House is a truly bespoke ceremony only venue. Included in your booking is access to your very own ‘Hopewood Concierge’ – a personal wedding planning service, to be on hand every step of the way. At Hopewood House you can be assured of exclusivity, as the estate hosts only a small number of weddings and events throughout the year. Furthermore, couples and guests will enjoy the private exclusive use of the estate for their event, with the option to stay on site in the luxurious cottage accommodation available. 

Ceremony Magic

Hopewood House offers an exclusive ceremony only experience, giving couples and their guests the unique opportunity to enjoy sole access to our historic estate.

The bespoke nature of weddings at Hopewood House will see your guests meander through your favourite pockets of the estate to your ceremony location and then to drinks and canapés that immediately follow.

After your ceremony, while you step away for photos, your guests can enjoy our hospitality and bond over the garden games, such as croquet, giant Jenga, and boule.

Our wet weather options are refined and stylish. The Pavilion provides elegant space adorned with paintings from the owner's private collection. From the marble fireplace to the numerous hanging chandeliers, a distinguished atmosphere awaits, regardless of the weather.

For ceremonies that fall on cooler days, we encourage couples to make use of our outdoor fireplace. On wet weather days, post-ceremony events can be held under the main house verandahs, which open into the private conservatories of the private house. 

The wedding ceremony and celebrations last three hours before guests bid farewell and embark on their reception celebrations at one of the charming venues in the Southern Highlands.
